House Cleaning ChecklistsUsing Checklists to Organize House Cleaning© Housecleaning-Made-Easy.comUsing a check list for house cleaning provides the solution to getting organized. Checklists can be used to establish a quick weekly whole house cleaning schedule, for deep cleaning individual rooms, even to lay out steps for specific cleaning projects. Use the following checklists to set up quick weekly cleanings and the cleaning of individual rooms. Use the blank checklist to lay out the steps for specific projects. This might be cleaning the refridgerator, the stove and oven even washing walls, woodwork, baseboards and windows. List each step of the process and check off and date each as they are completed.
Checklists can be maintained either on a cork bulletin board or a 3 ring notebook. The most important thing is to keep them were they are in your face never letting you forget your vow to become organized. This might be on the back side of the door of every room, maybe even more prominent like on the mirrors of bathrooms. The most important thing in the beginning is that they are always in sight prompting you to get moving and get organized. You can use your checklists to make progress one step at a time or to tackle most of the list all at once. Either way the list will be there to remind you of what has been done and when it was done so next time you aren't simply starting all over again. There is no unwritten law anywhere that says you have to use one of your precious days off and devote it to cleaning. Instead maybe one evening a week the TV schedule stinks so instead roll up your sleeves, turn on the music and tackle cleaning instead. As you *practice* cleaning house it will amaze you just how much cleaning can be done when you have a plan and work that plan on a regular basis. I regularly clean 4000-5000 sq ft homes in under 5 hrs. How? The homes are cleaned at least every two weeks and I've worked out a specific method to accomplish the most cleaning in the least time for each and every one. My income depends on it! So grab the checklists, stock up the cleaning supplies, find a rhythm to boost your energy level, get cleaning and through cleaning become organized. |
